Anam means soul — and that's the heart of our little studio off Oliver Plunkett Street. Yoga, Pilates and reformer classes for every body. No mirrors, no judgement, no requirement to touch your toes.
Every class on our timetable is beginner-friendly. Teachers offer modifications throughout, and you're never expected to keep up.
A creative, breath-led practice that builds gently. Beginners class on Tuesdays at 6.30pm.
Bolsters, blankets, almost no movement. Pure switch-off.
Safe, supported movement through every trimester.
A 6-week intro just for fellas who think yoga isn't for them. Spoiler: it is. Ross runs it on Thursdays.
Most people who walk in for the first time are nervous. They think everyone else will be doing handstands. They won't be. Here's what actually happens:
Pop in, say hi, fill out a quick form. We'll show you where to leave your shoes and find a spot.
Just comfy clothes you can move in and a water bottle. Mats, blocks and bolsters are all provided. Socks come off for yoga; grippy socks for reformer (we sell them at reception for €12 if you forget).
Sore knee? Just had a baby? Bad day? Have a quick word before class — we'll offer modifications and check in on you.
That's it. Stay for tea after if you fancy a chat. Most regulars started exactly where you are now.
Three teachers, hundreds of hours of training between them, and the same belief: yoga and Pilates should feel like an exhale.
Niamh opened Anam in 2021 after a decade teaching from Cork to Goa. Her flows are creative but accessible, and her restoratives are legendary for sending people into the deepest sleep of their week.
Former rugby player turned reformer obsessive. Ross built the Men's Beginners class for the lads who said they'd "rather not" — and now most of them won't miss a Thursday.
Méabh is a pre-natal specialist and mam of two. Her classes are gentle, well-informed and full of practical tips — whether you're 12 weeks in or just easing back after baby.
Pay-as-you-go or grab a class pack — they never expire and they're shareable with a friend.
Perfect for trying us out, or for the odd visit.
Use over any timeframe — no expiry.
Our most popular — shareable with friends.
For the committed. Best value.
